Climate change is taking a toll on India's agricultural productivity and

farmers' income. The farmers have been facing challenges of

unprecedented rainfall, snowfall, frost, cyclone, etc. As a result, there is

multiple stress in the field such as increased temperature, greater

carbon dioxide, enhanced UV- radiation and incidence of pests and

diseases. All these factors contribute in the reduction of crop

productivity, accounting for huge economic loss which calls for

immediate attention and intervention from the scientific community. To

deal with such situations, a basic understanding of the stress tolerance

mechanisms and innovations on mitigation strategies are essential. In

this context, the International Plant Physiology Virtual Conference

“Prospectus of Plant Physiology for Climate Proofing Agriculture” is

organized for improving and stabilizing the crop productivity under the

changing climate scenario.

research institutions / universities will deliver invited lectures on various

interested research topics and duration of each lecture will be 25 minutes.

Oral presentations: The oral presentation of contributory papers will be

restricted to 10 minutes duration.

Junior & young scientist award presentation: Maximum ten participants will

be shortlisted in both the categories based on the score in academics,

publications and significant research findings. All candidates may submit their

brief CV through mail

Posters presentation: There will be structured and organized poster sessions.

Two best posters in each session will be awarded. The pdf of a poster will be

allowed to present through virtual mode.
