Welcome to Alexandria

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Egyptian Poultry Science Association (EPSA) and World

Poultry Science Association (WPSA) - Egypt branch, it is my great pleasure

to welcome you to Egypt, for the 3rd Mediterranean Poultry summit of

WPSA (3rd MPS) and the 6th International Poultry Conference (6th IPC). The

event will be held in Alexandria in the north cost of Egypt at the 26 – 29

March 2012.

The Organizing Committee has developed an impressive program

providing the latest developments for scientists. We hope that the

participants of 3rd MPS & 6th IPC will have the chance to meet and

exchange valuable information on the latest advances in poultry research

and technology. Our aim is to arrange interesting scientific and cultural

programs for all delegates and accompanying persons, and hence to make

your stay pleasant and productive. Please enjoy your stay and all social

events arranged for the guests and participants.

General Information

Language of the congress: The official language of the congress is English.

Registration Desk: The registration and information desk at the congress venue will help speakers, delegates and accompanying persons during the congress. The registration desk will be located at the entrance hall of Porto Marina hotel.

Communication There is a business center at Porto Marina hotel. Roaming service is available through mobile phones. Wireless internet connection is also available.

Name Badges The name badges will be issued to delegates during registration serves as an admission pass to scientific sessions, coffee breaks, in the restaurant (during breakfast, lunch and dinner) and inclusive social events. Delegates are asked to ensure that they wear their name badges at all times.

Banking and credit cards Banking services are available at the airport and city center. There is an exchange bureau at the airport and many throughout the city center. Major credit cards are accepted in most places. The official currency in EGYPT is the Egyptian Pound (EGP), 1 Euro = about 8.5 EGP and 1 Us dollar = about 6.0 EGP.

Certificate of attendance A Certificate of attendance will be obtained during the conference. Please contact the registration desk.

Cloakroom There will be Cloakroom facilities available at Porto Marina hotel.

Dress Code You may dress informally for the conference (casual and smart causal).
