Consider how far technology has progressed in the last decade – Only ten years ago things like the internet, MP3 players, mobile phones, pay TV, and personal electronic organisers were either unheard of, or unused, by the average consumer.

Today, we take these things for granted as part of our daily lives.

Despite all of our modern conveniences, the greatest advances in technology are yet to be made. These advances won’t be limited by physical constraints, but rather by our imaginations…

Given our ability to dream and imagine, the future is looking very exciting. Would you like to be part of it?

UWS Graduate career outcomesDepending on the degree completed, you’ll be eligible to seek employment in a range of fields, including:» Information Systems focusing on

The teaching styles you will encounter at UWS and the study techniques required might be very different from what you have been used to in your home country.

At UWS ‘rote learning’ – or memorising information – is generally considered less important than other methods. You will, instead, be required to understand and apply concepts and theories and to critically examine and present a range of arguments to support your conclusions.

How degree was usefulThe degree from UWS helped to open doors for me in terms of eligibility for employment. Many places require a degree and it also boosted salary possibilities in some positions. Mostrecently,IhaveappliedtoaMastersprogram here in Toronto and been accepted to begin part-time this fall. The degree at UWS wasalsohelpfultomyoverallunderstandingof the youth work profession.
