1 MESSAGE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION: Dear Parents, So another week fades away and with it, January ends! I was just speaking with a mom of one of our seniors who told me that “it’s almost over”! Well, even for the seniors, there are still 3 months (or only 3 months, depending on your perspective) to go until their IB exams begin on May 2 nd , which I guess does really signify the beginning of the end! IASAS second season is well underway and our athletes have travelled far and wide to represent us once again. The rugby, touch and swim teams have gone to Bangkok while the basketball boys and girls have gone north to Taipei. The tennis teams have stayed here in Manila to serve and volley on home turf. Yesterday all teams started strong with wins across the board and medals already proudly worn by some of our swimmers. Our girls basketball and touch teams continued this streak today and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all our sports boys and girls to make the next round so that there is the chance of a medal by Saturday afternoon. Please come out and support our tennis teams tomorrow. The courts up on the 5 th floor are some of the best at any school around the world and the weather has been fantastic these past two days with a slight breeze wafting through from time to time. Looking ahead to next week or two, the PTA has asked me to promote the Father Daughter Dance on Friday February 13 th , starting at 6:00pm and ending at 9:00pm. C’mon dads, a whole evening with only your daughter – that’s priceless. Course selections week is also rapidly approaching and I would really recommend listening to your child’s thought on the courses that they might like to take for next academic year 2015- 16. Anyway, I’ll sign off there so that I can go and watch the last hour or so of the tennis. I hope to see many of you tomorrow at the courts.
