ICCI in association with Indian Navy is organizing an International Seminar on 'Make in India' FParadigm: Roadmap for a Future Ready Naval Force', on April 18 - 19, 2016, at FICCI Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. During this seminar the Indian Navy will

deliberate the opportunities and perspectives on its futuristic requirements with industry. This seminar will give an opportunity for industry to share domain specific technologies and leads in R&D.

The seminar is in consonance with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call for “Make in India” and “Skill India” and intends to generate a road map towards building a strong defence industrial base in the country. The global production model is an efficient mix of global sourcing with local content towards the optimal utilization of resources for meeting the domestic requirement. The huge Defence requirements of India with the urge to develop its defence manufacturing base in country through partnership model between public-private and FOEM has set the stage for harnessing the strengths of each pillars of strategic industrial cooperation with close coordination with user for the development of futuristic technologies, products and equipment for the Indian and global market.

The seminar will address nearly every important area of naval technology.

All papers will be scrutinized by a panel comprising senior officers of Indian Navy and FICCI Defence Committee. The last date of submission of paper is March 18, 2016.
