What is ITE? Four-week post-teaching internship experience

How does ITE work? Apply the semester before teaching internship

If accepted, registered for EDUC 368 (1-2 cr)
Attend two orientation meetings F14
How does ITE work? Soon after graduation depart for host country
Mid-May 2014
Work with on-site cooperating teacher
Complete four-weeks, submit reflection assignment for EDUC 368
When return, attend one ‘welcome back’ meeting
Cost? EDUC 368 (1-2cr) NO additional tuition
ITE teachers pay for their personal transportation, lodging, meals, visa, travel insurance, and entertainment costs. 2014 estimated costs:
$3,500 Germany
$3,500 Japan
$3,200 Belize
ITE teachers receive a $800 to $1,000 stipend to be paid with receipt of booked airfare
