Timatic þ Instructors’ Notes

TIMATIC is an electronic system developed by the Travel Information Manual (TIM), a group of fourteen airlines represented by International Airline Publications and SITA. It provides real time access to a database in Amsterdam, allowing agents to obtain information regarding various local requirements, such as health, visa, and other relevant information or to scan the entire text of the TIM booklet. The database is updated daily and is hosted in SITA’s Atlanta data processing center. Every effort is made to keep all information as up-to-date as possible, however the contents of the database are subject to change.
