BNC-Wigner
HAS Centre for Energy Research
HAS Wigner Research Centre for Physics
The BNC-Wigner (Budapest) FIXLAB B(HU)
It takes advantages of the large-scale facilityBudapest Research Reactor operated by theCentre for Energy Research (EK). The national andinternational research programs are co-ordinatedby the Budapest Neutron Centre (BNC), aconsortium of EK and the Wigner Research Centrefor Physics (Wigner). Both EK and Wigner areresearch centres of the Hungarian Academy ofSciences.
The most attractive feature of BNC Wigner fornon-destructive study of CH objects is theavailability of a broad selection of neutron-basedexperimental techniques (PGAA, PGAI-NT, NAA,RAD, TOF-ND, SANS), in combination withcomplementary non-neutron methods (external-beam PIXE, XRF, etc.) on the same campus.
