AUP documents are also namedas Internet and E-mail policy, Internet AUP, or Network AUP and Acceptable IT Use Policy.For whom AUP documents are written?forcorporations, businesses, universities, schools,internet service providers,and website owners

Common Elements of AUP statementsoften begin with astatement of the philosophyof sponsoringorganisation.
The user accepts the fact she/he is going to be personally responsible for actions taken when connected to the network or Internet.
Code of Conductitems of conduct as using appropriate/polite language while online, avoidingillegalactivities, ensuring that activities the user may embark on should not disturb or disrupt any other user on the system.The company identifies six levels of response to violations:
issue warnings: written or verbal
suspend the Member's newsgroup posting privileges
suspend the Member's account
terminate the Member's account
bill the Member for administrative costs and/or reactivation charges
bring legal action to enjoin violations and/or to collect damages, if any, caused by violations.
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of country.The basic principles that animate the Internet Acceptable Use Policy that follows is to:
make powerful Internet resources, especially broadband access, widely and equitably available and affordable for all learnersprovide continuous and relevant training and support for educators and administrators (especially in schools)
