By the end of my fieldwork experience, I will be able to run participants

through the driving simulator as well as complete the data collection sheets and upload the data to the hard drive. Each participant will have a

number and will not be connected with their name.

    i. O&(ectives. # will accomplish this &y:/. Readin consent and &ac*round forms.

    0. Performin the tas*s in the drivin simulation as a

By the end of my fieldwork experience, I will be able to implement my

literature review into the article about defensive driving courses and their

effects on accidents. This literature review can also help to tailor theGuard our !ife "rogram.

)he literature review was one of my &iest oals while at "U #"AR. #t was

very important that # compile the past research into a literature review so that

the results from the ?uard @our 7ife "hallene proram could later &e addedand the paper eventually pu&lished. owever! # was a&le to find some studies that seemed to &e the &est fit for the

literature review! despite some differences in the research. )his topic wassomewhat difficult as it lac*ed thorouh past studies on the su&(ect. # sent the

rouh draft to the research team in the hopes that what # wrote will help them

to continue on in this research area and pu&lish a paper in the near future

By the end of my fieldwork experience, I will be able to evaluate and

discuss the research study and results with others outside of the research

team. This can include graduate schools, other researchers, or similarresearch programs.

By the end of my fieldwork experience, I will be able to articulate how I

did not do as stated at the &einnin of the semester. # loo*ed further into the

mission and oals of "U #"AR and tried to determine if # was qualified to dothe type of wor* that occurs at the internship site. Althouh this experience

that # would want to pursue a strictly research career at the research center.
