Before Writing Activities Brainstorm questions with audience and purpose in mind. Plan, organize and sequence questions.

During/After Writing Activities Create draft, revise, edit interview. Consider purpose, and audience. Clear, and accurate details. Word choice is appropriate. Check for spelling, punctuation and so on.

Criteria Mark-Complete/Well thought out brainstorming page. -Should show a combination of chosen and not chosen ideas.- Should connect to themes, thoughts, actions, behaviours, events, relationships, etc.- Should address higher level questions in relation to character’s motives, beliefs and morals.

-Rough draft of interview showing recognition of errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, etc. -Recognition of errors should be shown in red pen. They must identify the error in question and fix said error.

- Good Copy must include a title. -Must include a formal opening paragraph identifying the purpose and audience as well as an introduction of the chosen character. /5-Must include a minimum of 20 questions- Questions must be insightful, connecting to themes, events, thoughts and actions of characters, motives, beliefs and morals.- Written work must accurately reflect purpose and audience. - Must be error free in regards to spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure and formatting.
