To date we have 8 out of 9 questionnaires returned which is a 88% response
rate – Please do send back your forms as we aim to continually improve the
inspection process and your feedback is vital to this
Feedback from the inspections was again extremely positive and companies
continue to appreciate the Inspector’s extensive industry experience
Inspectors continue to be a very valuable source of information and
suggestions given their industry knowledge
Many feel that the annual inspection is a good thing as it focuses the whole
team to ensure standards are continually met

User Members category
IQCS user members are UK based companies who do not have
their own in-house data-collection, but commit to use providers
who are IQCS accredited or ISO20252:2-12 registered (and are
inspected to verify this).
User members enjoy all the benefits of membership and have
their fieldwork projects annually assessed and accredited by our
independent inspectors

Benefits of User Membership
For small / independent consultancies who may themselves not be
ISO20252 registered, the IQCS User Membership category provides
a level of reassurance to clients that fieldwork on their projects has
been undertaken by an accredited agency or to standards outlined
under the IQCS /ISO20252:12 standard.

Help us to increase the User Membership
If you have clients you work for who don’t currently hold an
accreditation, please make them aware of IQCS User Membership
Promote the benefits. We have marketing information available on
the website or ask Gill for details
The cost of accreditation is minimal. The membership fee is £445,
and there is an annual inspection fee of £300.

History of the MRBA
Established in 1977 by Bryan Bates, Gerald
Goodhart and Jennifer Bowen
In response to the need to help two families after
sudden deaths of two MRS members
An independent charity run by volunteers in the

Ben’s Story
‘Ben’s’ wife was suffering from cancer. He
gave up work to nurse her, so we helped
cover a few debts by paying off his credit
card and covering some utility bills.

With a very ill son, ‘Suzi’s’ own mental health began to affect her because she was also
very worried about her finances, so we gave her money to clear some of her debts.

Ruth’s Story
After just a few years of marriage, a young woman in research lost her husband because of illness. We gave her the money she needed to
