Why an ‘egg of entrepreneurship’?Columbus asked his table-companions whether they could make an egg stand on its end without any kind of help or aid. Everybody tried, but without success. They all agreed it was impossible. Then Columbus took the egg and broke it slightly at its end by tapping it gently on the table. Thus the egg stood on its end.

Then he said: ‘The difference is that you could have done it, but I did!’
