About Ruth Mills Ruth Mills is one of Scotland’s leading dancers, choreographers and movement directors with over twenty years professional experience in contemporary dance. She has toured extensively as a dancer both nationally and internationally. A graduate of London Contemporary Dance School, Ruth is well known for her dedication to the form, precision and artistry of dance. Teaming this expertise with a passion for new music and film, her creations often extend out of the theatre into film and music video. Her work is provocative, intelligent, uncompromising in its professionalism and showcases the best creative talent Scotland has to offer. Ruth has chosen to commit much of her time to sharing her skills with professional, amateur and studying dancers across the UK and beyond. It is in this work that she believes the healing power of dance and movement can emerge. Ruth is dedicated to dance in all its forms and for all people.
