Q:Do all of the instructors at my Academy need to upgrade at the same time?

A: No, upgrading is on an individual basis. However, co-teaching will be impacted.

If instructors want to co-teach they will need to both be in the same system.

Q:When do students upgrade?

A:A student upgrades once they are invited to join a course in NetSpace.

Q:What limitations are put on me in Academy Connection once I upgrade to

NetSpace?

A: Once you have upgraded you can no longer open a new course in Academy

Connection. Your profile changes also need to be made in NetSpace.

Q: What should I do if I want to play in NetSpace to learn but still teach in

Academy Connection?

A: Create your courses in Academy Connection first, upgrade to NetSpace, then

decide if you would like to teach the courses in AC or NetSpace.

DescriptionStudent enrollment There currently is not a way to pull students over from

Academy Connection to enroll them.

Students needs to be added via a csv file or individually in

the enrollment page.

Once students go through enrollment they can link their

Academy Connection account to their NetSpace account.

Student screen

names and

passwords

Instructors do not have access to student screen names

and passwords in NetSpace. Instructors need to contact

the support desk or students need to use the ForgotPassword flow.

Historical data on

classes and

students

NetSpace does not have links to historical data from

Academy Connection yet. For now users will need to

access historical information from Academy Connection.

DescriptionAssessments Batch activation (the ability to activate multiple

assessments at a time) does not exist in NetSpace.

There is no ability for consecutive activations for exams,

activation needs to be deleted and reactivated.

Simplification is needed.

Changing Grades

on Exams

Instructors can change a students grade on an Exam in

NetSpace. The grade is changed in the LMS, but not in

the testing delivery system.

Weighting ofAssignments

Ability to weight assignments to determine how studentsoverall grade is calculated
