Your Story Your Design Contest Sara and I were friends for more than sixty-five years. With a love of music, we had our singing

debut at age 10, performing at the church’s men’s fellowship to thunderous applause! Trouble was no stranger to us either, but all of our spats were resolved by riding bikes to the corner

grocery store for ice cream. It’s always easier to face a difficult hand dealt by life with a loyal supporter by your side. That’s the lesson I learned from Sara. Sara was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live. She fought a brave battle for more than a year and a half before surrendering. During this time, she and I with two other friends made a pact to spend as much time together as possible. We referred to ourselves as “the goddesses.” We laughed and cried and deepened the bonds of “sisters.”

When Sara passed, she left us each a personal letter expressing her love for us. Enclosed was a Chamilia charm – hands holding a heart. The desire to keep her spirit alive inspired

my Chamilia bracelet. The purple beads represent the signature color of pancreatic cancer research. I included the dangling music notes, “friend” charm, two girls sharing music, the circle of friends, the crown, “sister” charm, the dangling chocolate kiss, the purse, and of course, an angel. Each is meaningfully symbolic of our friendship and

escapades. As time has gone by, my “Sara Bracelet” now brings a smile. Those treasured memories will forever remain in my heart.

Be sure to check out the updated training modules on 3point5 in early January! The format for the seasonal modules on 3point5 has been modified slightly for Winter 2014. Both are now in video format! The module formerly called “What’s New” is now the “Winter 2014 Product Training” module. The “Seasonal Training Video” module is now the “Winter 2014 Marketing & Merchandising Training” module. With the new format, the videos are slightly shorter in length than the previous training video, making it easier to complete them in less time overall, or one at a time, if needed. A: We promote Chamilia through Facebook and Instagram posts. Very recently we started using Facebook ads to boost posts and promote campaigns to our customers and potential customers that meet specific criteria.

q: Can you tell us about your favorite story or a memorable experience with one of your Chamilia customers?

A: My most memorable experiences with Chamilia customers take place when small children pick out the beads for their moms! They always have a cute reason behind why they’re choosing a specific bead for her.

q: How has the Chamilia line impacted your business?

A: Chamilia has helped us create repeat customers. Most importantly we have developed friendships with customers and their friends and families.

q: What is your best tip for selling Chamilia?A: My best tip for selling Chamilia is to be genuine

with the customer. They value an honest opinion from us “the experts” when choosing gifts for themselves or for loved ones. So don’t be afraid to suggest another bead to complement their selection!
