1.Peace of Message from T.Morito

25 January 1951, He said that

In my capacity as President of Hiroshima University, situated in the center of Hiroshima, which is world-famous as “Atom-Bombed City” and designated by the Japanese diet as “Eternal Peace Commemorating City”.

I am sending letters to a large number of universities all over the world. We have chosen to include your university especially in order to ask for your help in our great task of reconstruction here.

• So He said that “I want to step forward in the direction of slogan, “No more Hiroshima”, and beg your assistance of the establishing this university as a peace-university as well as a spiritual center for the Atom-Peace-City.”

– 1949 Established Hiroshima City – 1950 Mr. Tatsuo Morito is the first HU President.

• First HU campus is Hiroshima city. – 1951 Mr. T.Morito send to the world for Peaces message

and rebuilding Hiroshima University form HU in Japan Hiroshima City. • Hiroshima University’s main campus is replaced from

Hiroshima city to Higashi Hiroshima city. (first replaced faculty of engineering.)

Children plays important roles for future. So, we want them to have spirits to aim at peace. We can tell children the importance of peace.

Because I think the movie is very impressing peace at

children.

My grandmother experienced W.W.Ⅱand she told me about her

memory during war. I remember that I was shocked

and thought peace is important. So I want to give the same experiences to students.
