IntroductionGeoShanghai International Conference (held every four years) is a

fantastic geotechnical-party jointly run with ASCE ,which has been

successfully held twice in Shanghai in 2006 and 2010.The number

of the conference’s delegates from home and abroad reached to 400

and 350, respectively. The coming GeoShanghai 2014 International

Conference(2014.05.26-2014.05.28) has aroused positive support

from Chinese/international academic institutions and industry since

NO.1 Announcement was published. More than 600 abstracts from

approximately 30 countries have been received, and about 450

technical papers will be accepted after peer reviews. It is estimated

that the number of the conference’s delegate from home and abroad

will come to 400.

The Welcome Reception will be held in and around the Exhibition

area. The exhibition area will be open during conference hours from

May 26 (Monday) to May 28 (Wednesday) 2014.

The standard booth is 2m 3m in dimension, and covered with

carpet. Each exhibition booth will be supplied with two lights, two

chairs, one table, and one single 220V power outlet.
