We’ll be dealing with two stories this evening, the

stories of gender and racial discrimination. They

both have a common link. Both have their

beginnings in the book of Genesis.

Both involve the common parents from which

every human being on the planet came from

Both parents were equal

until sin was introduced into the family,

because of that sin, inequality was introduced

THE STORY OF NOAH

New Earth

Equality

Earth was wicked

It was destroyed with a flood

There was a creation of a new earth

You have new earth and common parents

Canaan

Genesis 9:18- Noah and his 3sons:

Shem, Ham, Japheth

Canaan, the grandson is already introduced

Noah-Son-Ham-Grandson-Canaan

Genesis 9

Verse20 - Noah plants a vineyard

Verse 21 - He gets drunk

Verse 22 – Ham comes in finds him naked, tells his

brothers

Verse 23 – The brothers respond with respect

Verse 24 – Noah wakes up from the drunken stupor

and knows what Ham has done

Verse 25 – And he says cursed be Canaan; a slave

shall ne be to his brothers

Verse 26 – Blessed be Shem, Canaan shall be his

slave

Verse 27 – God will bless Japheth, Canaan shall be

his slave

Patriarchs and Prophets 118:1

“The posterity of Canaan descended to the

most degrading forms of heathenism. Though the

prophetic curse had doomed them to slavery, the

doom was withheld for centuries. God bore with

their impiety and corruption until they passed the

limits of divine forbearance. Then they were

dispossessed, and became bondmen to the

descendants of Shem and Japheth.”

Abraham

Genesis 17:23-27

And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that

were born in his house, and all that were bought

with his money, every male among the men of

Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their

foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto

him…And all the men of his house, born in the

house, and bought with money of the stranger,

were circumcised with him.

Bought with his money

Abraham had slaves, he was a slave owner, and he

circumcised every male bought with money in his

house whether they wanted it or not- they were

slaves, They had no choice.

Reads from a secular book written in 1864 by the

south in the Civil War laying out their Bible

arguments in defense of slavery.

“The curse pronounced by God through Noah

had no limitations, it was perpetual it extended

from generation to generation and then you see it

go from Noah to Abraham. Abraham is the Father of

the Faith, the friend of God and a slave owner some

born in his house and bought with his money.”

Glorious Land

Moses

God is establishing the Glorious land

Ancient Israel- the alpha glorious land at its birth

God tells them how to treat poor Israelite brethren

Leviticus 25:35

And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in

decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him:

though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he

may live with thee.

Two Classes

Israelite Passport- Set of rights granted

Passport- No equal rights

Leviticus 25

Verse 35 – If your brother is poor, even if he be a

stranger let him live with you

Verse 36 – Don’t make him pay you, just share with

him

Verse 38 – Because I brought you out of Egypt to be

your God- to give you the glorious land

Verse 39 – If your brother that lives with you is poor

and he’s sold to you, you won’t treat him like a

slave, but like a hired servant

Verse 40- And he will serve you until the Jubilee

Verse 41 – And then you will set him free, sending

him and his children back to his own family

Verse 42 – For they are my servants- those Israelites

with the Passport which I brought out of Egypt, they

will not be slaves

Verse 43 – You won’t rule over him harshly

Verse 44 – But your slaves which ye shall have, shall

be of the heathen round about you- of them you

can buy or sell

Verse 45 – You’ll own their children

Verse 46 – When you die, your children take your

slaves because they will be your slaves forever

At the very beginning of the Glorious Land there is

the institution of slavery by a Thus Saith the Lord

Solomon

1Kings 9:10-20, 21, 22

Verse 10- Solomon finishes building two houses,

God’s and the King’s, and talks about other feats he

had accomplished

Verse 20 – Takes about five other tribes that are not

children of the glorious land: Amorites, Hittites,

Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites

Verses 21 – Their children that were left after them

in the land that were not destroyed Solomon made

slaves

Verse 22 – But the children of Israel, Solomon didn’t

make slaves

Solomon is faithfully following the instruction of

God given through Moses.

“Truth does not loose it’s value with age nor

can you give respect to error just because its more

recent. The Bible is a pro-slavery book, and yet you

abolitionist want to argue that God is anti-slavery.”

The south has every Thus Saith the Lord written in

that book from old testament------ new testament.

1st Advent

This was the alpha glorious land

Begins with Moses

Ends with the time of Christ

We also divide it into two histories, the beginning

and the end, an alpha and omega.

Philemon

A slave, Onesimus, had run away from his master,

Philemon. Onesimus found his way to Paul in Rome,

where he was converted and, however nicely you

want to state it, Paul tells him to go back and

submit to his master and hope that he is good to

you.

Paul promoted submission and slavery.

Omega History

Something strange is happening:

New rebels are coming up

Led by John the Baptist

They’re baptizing people

And there is this Jesus

And what are they accusing him of-

“You’re taking our alpha history, and you are

destroying it.”

Because Christ is walking in direct opposition to

their Thus Saith the Lord.

In the alpha Jews and Gentiles were separate.

In the omega Jews and Gentiles are equal- Paul

states in Romans no special rights.

The Israel nation, those good conservative

Pharisees said:

You’re trashing our alpha history

You’re in violation of our quotes, those Thus

Saith the Lord

They’re mentality was they were going to preserve

their special identity as the Israel of God and they

have every quote on their side to prove it.

Speaking sarcastically-

“You’re going to say that the Bible is incomplete if

you want to argue against slavery, doesn’t it seem

strange that in a book this big there is not made

room for one short sentence saying slavery is

wrong. That’s all that’s needed- three words in the

whole book and the question would have been

answered.”

Old testament to the New testament no

statement that slavery is wrong

Ellen White in Patriarchs and Prophets said it

came through God through Noah

The Father of Israel, the Father of us all was a

slave owner

The alpha of the Alpha glorious land instituted it

as God had instructed

And in the new testament there is no verse to

change that

God’s people have been persecuted,

they come out of Egypt

God opens up a glorious land for them

o The problem is it’s populated

o So what do they have to do?

Genocide- kill all the nations and bring in slavery

To the new glorious land the problem is, it’s

populated

So if you want a Thus Saith the Lord, what are

they supposed to do

Genocide- Kill all the native Indians and institute

slavery

How the South defended slavery

Same as the Religious Right today

o Northerners are radical, like a terrorist

group

o Oppressing us with anti-slavery views

o We can back our concept with science

o Slavery is better for black people

They frame their arguments as freedom of belief

and speech.

Ellen White raised up

Slavery= Sin

Problem God never changes

His word doesn’t contradict slavery

So what is the answer to Ellen G. White seemingly

going against a clear This Saith the Lord.

Paraphrased quotes of Ellen G. White

No slavery, but I object to an interracial

marriage

Black people should not urge that they be

placed on an equality with white, they should

not urge for equality

Workers can make no political speeches

And the mingling of black and white in social

equality is by no means to be encouraged

Segregate

Martin Luther King Jr. vs. Evangelicals

I’m going to be political God made a distinction,

and we need to

segregate

Fight for equality

End segregation

Have no problem with interracial marriage

Problem, he’s in direct violation of a “Thus saith the

Prophet”

So that

During the Civil Rights movement, if we wanted to

argue that that movement was going against

inspiration; we would be against Martin Luther King

Jr. then.

Obama---------------------------------------

“All day every day”

Yet in our history there’s a black president

Leader of the free world- all day every day

Making political speeches- prohibited by Sister

White

And this is what our movement says- he was the

right choice as president- the last hope that

America had.

We also say yes to intermarriage

And yes to no segregation

So let’s be clear,

This movement, as it sits right now at an

international Zoom meeting without segregation, is

in direct violation of a “Thus Saith the Lord”, make

sure you understand that point.

this history where they’re breaking down the walls

between Jews and Gentiles there’s not a statement

that slavery itself is wrong.

7. Omega glorious land- the United States

I hope no one here thinks that America was

right to massacre American Indians

Just understand if you want to believe that you

can defend it, and they have slavery

8. Then all of a sudden EGW- the prophet- says I

don’t care about the old and new testament,

slavery is sin

But says segregate, don’t fight for equality, no

intermarriage

9. Civil Rights movement

If we stand with Martin Luther King Jr., we go

against Jerry Falwell and Ellen G.White

10. Yet we’re teaching despite the quotes that in

our history for the last hope of America, God

intentionally put it in the hands of a black president;

We refuse to follow Ellen White’s counsel and

segregate our camp and zoom meetings.

We have another

One Common family in Eden

They were created with total equality

God gave dominion to Both of them

Eve sins and a curse is placed over her

Verse 16- God tells her, “thy desire shall be to thy

husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

In comes submission, rulership

Abraham--------------------------------

Genesis 17:9-11

Verse 9 – God said to Abraham, you’ll keep my

covenant and all your children

Verse 10 – And this is the covenant, every man child

among you is going to be brought into the

covenant, how through circumcision

Question: What do you have to be to enter into

covenant- Male

From Abraham, Isaac, Jacob- through the 12

patriarchs, the tribes of Israel, covenants were

between God and a man.

If a woman wanted to be part of this covenant

she was allowed in through connection with her

husband.

Moses-------------------------------------

Going to introduce the tabernacle service and the

priesthood

Exodus 28

Verse 1 – You’ll take Aaron, your brother and his

sons to be priest and this is to continue down

through the generations

Question: What gender are you required to be to be

a priest-Male

Let’s be clear: If any woman here considers herself a

priest you’re going directly against a Thus saith the

Lord

Moses

School of prophets---------------------------------------

To educate people and set up leadership, what do

you have to be to attend a School of the Prophets-

Patriarchs and Prophets 593.1

“Further provision was made for the instruction

of the young, by the establishment of the schools of

the prophets. If a youth desired to search deeper

into the truths of the word of God and to seek

wisdom from above, that he might become a

teacher in Israel, these schools were open to him.

The schools of the prophets were founded by

Samuel to serve as a barrier against the widespread

corruption, to provide for the moral and spiritual

welfare of the youth, and to promote the future

prosperity of the nation by furnishing it with men

qualified to act in the fear of God as leaders and

counselors. In the accomplishment of this object

Samuel gathered companies of young men who

were pious, intelligent, and studious. These were

called the sons of the prophets. As they communed

with God and studied His word and His works,

wisdom from above was added to their natural

endowments. The instructors were men not only

well versed in divine truth, but those who had

themselves enjoyed communion with God and had

received the special endowment of His Spirit. They

enjoyed the respect and confidence of the people,

both for learning and piety.”

Kings--------------------------------------------------------

To rule in Israel, what is excepted? That you’re a

Male

Only a male could be a legitimate king

This is the alpha Glorious land history.

1st Advent-----------------------------------------------

Jesus, the radical reformer, comes on the scene

He begins bringing people into covenant relation

with God and teaches His disciples to do likewise.

Acts 8:12

“But when they believed Philip preaching the

things concerning the kingdom of God, and the

name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men

and women.”

You have this new radical movement, that begins

under John the Baptist, and what old testament

scripture gave him any right to baptize a woman

and bring her into covenant relationship with God.

You won’t find any, but you will find quite a few

that indicate he shouldn’t.

So now you have many women who are entering

into covenant with God.

Paul------------------------------------

But then, Paul comes along and says what-

Wives/women

Submit

Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own

husbands, as unto the Lord.

Colossians 3:18

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own

husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

1798 White----------------------------------------

There’s a new movement being raised up, and

there’s an increase of knowledge.

And God gives us a woman prophet.

She encourages:

Women to lead

Women to teach

They’re to receive equal pay

She makes statements like,

-- “we’re going to set up schools like the Schools of

the Prophets and they’re going to be run by God

fearing men and women.”

her work was Revolutionary

But she also said:

Don’t get involved in politics

Don’t fight for the right to vote

Submit to your husbands, be happy with your

role and be quiet

Feminism

Then in this history, soon after Ellen White

A movement rises, fighting, using a political voice to

argue for equality.

If the feminist movement is wrong, then the civil

rights movement is also wrong.

But since people won’t agree to that, what they are

saying is we will use a “Thus saith the Lord” when it

suits our agenda.

Jerry Falwell and the Christian Right have two

arguments:

1. God made a distinction on race

2. God made a distinction on gender

And we need to fight to maintain those distinctions

in order to conserve or preserve our society.

Hillary-------------------------------------------

Let’s make a point clear

In our history:

Women are priest

She can be baptized

She can attend a prophecy school and,

The last hope that the United States had was to

elect a female president to be leader of the free

world.

Do you think she would have gone home every

night and say to Bill, the Queen wants me to visit;

do I have your permission?

No country runs that way

We are moving from Eden lost to Eden restored;

this is the line of gender or specifically sexism.

This is a line of progression.

We are in a new dispensation, we can’t go back to

Abraham’s dispensation and bring that literally into

our own and apply it.

We had baptisms six months ago and we’ll have

them in six days.

And if Abraham walks in requesting baptism, we will

say NO- you’re a sinner we won’t baptize you

Moses- NO

Solomon- NO

Paul- NO

William Miller- Not a chance you Sunday keeping,

meat eater

Objection raised

They operate differently; men and women have

different minds.

Answer: Most of these objections are conspiracy

theories.

Studies shown through the latest science,

demonstrate that the vast majority of the

differences existing between genders are because

society doesn’t treat them as equal- its education

and opportunity.

Both charts

What we have is the introduction of sin and then a

progressive restoration.

One a line of restoration you are not allowed to go

backwards in time.

The only way to greatness is Forward

and Forward is Equality.

Forward is New Eden.

Forward is the New Earth.

We are not in Moses’ dispensation.

We are not in Abraham’s.

We are not in Ellen White’s dispensation, but many

of us still live as though we are.

Question

In the time of Christ what happened to the people

who were trying to live as if they were in Moses’

dispensation?

They failed; they were cut off.

External

Through 6,000 years of history brings us to the

point where the only thing standing between having

a woman president is a vote.

Hilary Clinton stands up for president

It goes to a vote

The glorious land votes correctly

She won the popular vote

But an outside conservative influence interfered

with the vote of the glorious land.

Internal

Women stand up stating they want to be

ordained as elders

Did the glorious holy mountain- world

conference of SDA’s vote correctly- Yes

But conservative nations blocked it

Our tests for this dispensation are:

Conspiracy Theories- Fox News

Sexism

Racism/nationalism

Progression:

We’ve moved from the new earth to the new earth,

from Eden to Eden, from total equality to total

equality. If it’s total equality under Obama it would

have been total equality under Clinton because in

the alpha glorious land a woman couldn’t be king.

There are 3 levels to demonstrate equality
