    receivedinthecourseofyouragency'sbusiness.

    Recordsprovideevidenceofyouragency'sbusinessand

    underpinaccountabilityandefficiency.Theycanbe

    paper,digitalorinotherformats.

    Peopleoftenworryaboutwhatarecordis.Forpracticalpurposes,youshouldfocusonmanagingall

    youragency'sbusinessinformationwell.Insteadoftryingtofigureoutwhatisorisn'tarecord,you

    shouldmanageallinformationasrecords.

    Howevernotallrecordsareofequalvalue,sotheydon'tallrequirethesamelevelof
