be covering in this course• The purpose of this exercise is to gain insight on

your current understandings of course concepts and to get your opinions on many of the issues we’ll be discussing throughout the semester

Instructions• Set aside 1 hour for this exercise• Gather paper, pen or pencil and a timer• For each slide:

o Set your timer for three minuteso Read the question on the first slide, and answer the question to the

best of your ability. There are no right or wrong answers! Be creative—write what you think, develop new ideas—think “outside the box”

o Write until the timer signals the completion of the three-minute time limit

o Set your timer for three minutes and repeat the procedure for questions 2 through 16

• What is the right balance of the use of digital media and traditional learning in today’s classrooms?

• Select one form of digital media and devise a strategy on how you could utilize that media to help you learn• Take approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours to

develop a five-minute informal presentation on how you would use that form of digital media to enhance your learning—• Any subject, any media--BE
