Dynamic Case Management

22

A highly structured, but also collaborative, dynamic, and

information-intensive process that is driven by outside events and

requires incremental and progressive responses from the business

domain handling the case.

Dynamic Case Management — An Old Idea Catches New Fire

Craig Le Clair and Connie Moore, Forrester Research, 2009

Examples: a patient record, a lawsuit, an insurance claim, or a contract

Includes all the documents, data, collaboration artifacts, policies, rules,

analytics, and other information needed to process and manage the

case

A Case is the term given to an instance of a case definition process,

e.g. a fraud case

A case definition has associated case processes which may or may

not be instantiated as part of the case
