Introductory Text: Mr. Adolfo Ruiz is a civil litigation attorney for municipalities and governmental entities in State and Federal Court and performs city attorney services. Prior to joining Mckamie, Krueger, Knight LLP, Adolfo was a General Counsel for a water district where he acquired a strong background in water law and water related matters. Adolfo served as a member of the State Bar of Texas Racial Diversity in the Profession Committee, a/k/a The Opportunities for Minorities in the Profession Committee, for six years and served as its Chair for two years. He was an original member of the State Bar of Texas Minority Counsel Program Steering Committee. Adolfo was the recipient of the 1993 San Antonio Mexican American Bar Association’s Presidential Citation. Adolfo was voted by his peers as one of San Antonio’s Best Lawyers of 2011 in S.A. Scene Magazine in the categories of Cities/Municipalities and Public Utilities and in 2012 in the category of Civil Litigation Defense.
