Karim Premji - Mr. Premji is a very successful entrepreneur and brings along extensive experience in both developed and developing worlds. He sits on the board of several companies where his visions have led them to achieve strong performances and are now in the forefront in its respective sectors.

Mr. Premji holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, MBA from Brunel University in the UK.

Saleem Mohamed - Mr. Mohamed holds a degree in economics and has specialized in sovereign debt negotiations and arbitrage in Europe and Africa.

He has an extensive knowledge of Africa and has created joint ventures with many high profile corporations to work in several of his projects.

Mr. Guitunga brings Experience being the Responsible for the economic and financial management in a group of companies such as Macarratane Agricultural Company and currently as a Managing Director of a service rendering trade, agri-business and Consultancy Company.

Constructions Project Coordinator

Daniel Johannes Struyweg - Mr. Struyweg is a Construction Project Coordinator and he comes with an extensive background. Mr. Struyweg is a qualified chartered accountant.

Internal Auditor

Nizar Noorhussain Nathani - Mr. Nathani holds a Master degree in commerce from the University of Karachi and a chartered accountancy of foundation group- II, from the institute of chartered accountants of Pakistan.

Mr. Nathani is graduated in bachelor of commerce at St Patrick. Govt. college university of Karachi and e has done his education at D.J Sindtt Govt. Science College at Board of intermediate, Karachi, and B.V.S. Parsi High School at Board of Secondary Education, Karachi.

Nafisa Premji - Mrs. Premji is the head of the Pharmaceutical Department of (MPH) “Maputo Privet Hospital’.

Mrs. Premji comes with an educational career in Canada from the University of British Colombia, Degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

Principle Of The “Canadian Montessori Academy (CMA)”

Yolanda Esterhuizen - Mrs. Esterhuizen is a South African teacher trained in Outcomes Based Education to train teachers, where in1998 she trained 30 teachers in the new OBE System.

With Junior Primary Certificate in Afrikaans; English; Didactics of Afrikaans; Didactics of English; Didactics of Mathematics; Art; Music – Piano, Recorder and Guitar; Physical Education she has taught English as a foreign language. Mrs. Esterhuizen is also a Co-opted member of the Student Council.

Hermann Woithe - Mr. Woithe has 15 years experience in project-based managerial positions. During this time he has managed the implementation of various telecommunications projects in Africa. He has a strong focus on project management methodologies.

Mr. Woithe is a natural leader, with an instinctive grasp of complex implementation issues. He holds a B.Com (HR) degree from the University of the Free State, and a Project Management Diploma from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Mario Pronto - Mr. Pronto joined Intra soon after it’s inception in 2000. Mr. Pronto was in charge of sales and marketing prior to becoming the CEO. Mr. Pronto’s vast local knowledge has been instrumental in ensuring Intra’s favourable position in the market.

Mr. Pronto is passionate about new technologies that can improve the client’s internet experience.

Solutions Architect

Christo Louw - Mr. Louw is the solutions architect at Intra. During his five years with the company, Mr. Louw has been the driving force behind the development of Intra’s management system, ISPIC.

Mr. Louw currently oversees Intra’s technical department, his main focus being research and development of internal as well as external (customer) solutions.

Maputo Private Hospital

The Maputo Private Hospital (MPH) is part of Lenmed Health. The development of Maputo Private Hospital is the first large scale private hospital in the country equipped with an estimated 100 beds, state of the art medical equipment and specialized services. There are plenty of private clinics in the Mozambican capital, but no private hospitals. This is the first full scale private hospital in Mozambique.

This is a joint venture with the Lenmed group from South Africa. Construction started in May 2007 with the estimated completion date being April 2010.

The development of a Private University in partnership with Fontys International Health Projects in The Netherlands This is the first private university in Mozambique which will have complete campus facilities for its students.

Due to the high demand for hospital workers, on successful completion of a chosen career to be guaranteed for a job in Mozambique in one of the main public or private hospitals or in the South African region.

Fontys University of Allied Health Sciences in Mozambique, empowered by Fontys University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands will commence training in 2009 in co-operation with Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo for these full time three year Bachelor Degree courses:

The development of a Private University in partnership with Fontys International Health Projects in The Netherlands is the first private university in Mozambique which will have complete campus facilities for its students.

The University of Allied Health Sciences Mozambique will be co-operating with the Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo. All Bachelor Degrees awarded by the University of Allied Health Sciences Mozambique will therefore be accredited by the Eduardo Mondlane University which will be internationally recognized and enable all students to study further.


CMA (Canadian Montessori Academy)

CMA is a member of the American Montessori Society, the international Montessori Council, and National Centre for Montessori Education and is governed by the Ontario Ministry of Education. CMA was founded by AYNA A. CADER one of Maria Montessori‘s first pupils, the school has been in operation since 1980.

Established in 1986, Canadian Montessori School is an independent, co-educational day school for children from eighteen months to 14 years of age.

The school’s mission is the education of the whole child through the Montessori approach which addresses the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of each child.

INTRA

Explosive growth of GSM across Africa over the last 10 years has been well documented. Intra was formed in 2000, starting with dial-up lines in Maputo. In 2001 a Wi-Fi network was built in Maputo, at the time it was the first city-wide Wi-Fi network in Africa. In 2003, Intra built the second 3G wireless network in Africa.

In 2005, Intra launched a 3G in Beira. A Motorola Canopy network was deployed in Maputo in 2006 for customers that required high-capacity links.

A WiMAX network was deployed in Maputo during 2007 to cater for Intra’s expanding corporate market. 2008 saw the deployment of Intra’s new 4th generation network. This network natively handles data as well as voice traffic.

Intra has also expanded its footprint to other cities with this network, including Beira, Nampula and Tete.
