Having an educated workforce is key to growing and maintaining a successful business and strengthening our local economy. Over the last decade, 80 percent of Lake County employers have hired people who have improved their skills by studying at the College of Lake County (CLC).

Because CLC plays such a vital role, we are inviting local businesses, organizations and clubs to invest in a philanthropic opportunity that will strengthen our local economy and prepare the next generation of highly skilled and educated workers.

We invite you to become a community partner and make CLC students’ impossible dreams become achievable goals.

Opportunities to donate to CLC:

• Donate equipment or supplies.

• Share your knowledge by serving on a Career Advisory Committee.

• Provide employment opportunities.

• Create a custom scholarship.

• Be an event sponsor.

“ When a scholarship is given to a student, that

student gets a sense of pride because he knows

his hard work is appreciated. It makes the student

work harder to get good grades, because he knows

the donor of that scholarship is counting on him to

put hard-earned money to good use.”

– Daniel Thomas Jablonski
