Annual Gifts are used by villanova to augment the school’s operating budget and to finance “greatest needs.” At vPs, nearly 50% of our students receive tuition assistance at a cost of more than $1 million each year.

Page 13: Invest presentation (5)

Major Gifts are made to support capital improvements such as buildings or technology. each year villanova establishes capital priorities. some are funded through the school’s annual budget for maintenance and improvements. Others require philanthropic gifts to complete.

Planned gifts are an opportunity to continue your generous support of villanova forever. the clare Boothe Luce scholarship was created by a planned gift and provides nearly $300,000 annually to fund several faculty positions and an enrichment program for female students majoring in Math or science.

Page 15: Invest presentation (5)

A planned gift is the best way to build the Fr. Glynn scholarship endowment, which currently sits at $3 million, with a long-term goal of $20 million by 2024, the school’s 100th anniversary.

You can help sustain our tradition of providing catholic education to aspiring students regardless of their ability to pay, now and into the future through estate planning.

through your will, a trust vehicle that provides you with income for life, or by naming villanova as the beneficiary of your IRA, you can help villanova continue superb education in the Augustinian tradition.

The Fund provides resources necessary to recruit and retain high quality teachers; to upgrade technology, and to maintain the beautiful 134-acre campus. meeting our annual Fund financial goal is vitally important, but achieving 100 percent participation is even more important. percentage of participation in the annual Fund by our board of directors, alumni, staff, and families is one of the factors weighed in a foundation’s review of our grant proposals.
