As a mark of deep integration of multiple industries, Intelligent and Connected Vehicle (ICV) represents the
strategic direction of the development of automotive industry. It is an important measure to realize innovation-driven
development and an important opportunity for China’s automotive industry to realize lane-changing overtaking. The
innovative development of ICV needs to integrate various forces under the national top-level planning.
In order to promote the development of China's ICV and build a world-class technology exchange platform, China
Society of Automotive Engineers (China SAE), Tsinghua University, China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles
(Beijing) Research Institute Co. Ltd and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area will jointly hold the
"6th International Congress of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Technology" (CICV 2019). The Congress will
cover the fields of automobile, chips, AI, information and communications, transportation, etc. As a new technology
release platform, policy vane, leading technology display window, and industrial fusion accelerator, CICV is a
communication platform and provides information reference for enterprises, universities and research institutions.
CICV 2019 will focus on key technologies, policies and regulations of autonomous driving to deeply discuss topics
on environment perception/decision and control, development/testing/evaluation/demonstration, V2X, artificial
intelligence, information security, New-type In-Vehicle High Speed Network, high-precision maps, intelligent
transportation and smart cities, human-machine driving and HMI. This year's Congress will organize plenary sessions,
high-level panel discussion and special sessions. CICV 2019 will invite around 100 well-known experts and technology
leaders from corporates to deliver speeches and participate in discussions. It is expected that 1,500 professionals will
attend the Congress and the technology and product exhibitions area covering nearly 10,000 square meters will attract
around 10,000 visitors. At the same time, there will be parallel activities including test drive, V2X demonstration,
company tour, excellent team demonstration of Formula Student Autonomous China (FSAC) and popularization of
science for children.

As the Parallel Activity of CICV 2018, The aim of test drive is to make the delegates more intuitive experience and feel the current
advanced technologies and applications such as automatic driving or ADAS.
CICV 2018 Delegates Profile
The scale of CICV 2018 participation has increased significantly compared with previous years. 1070 delegates from 431 institutes
participated in the Congress, which is an increase of 76.6% compared with the 2017 participation. The number of delegates from OEMs,
universities/scientific research institutions, and development/test companies has grown significantly. The number of technical leaders
and engineers from OEMs reached 306.
