Dear friends,

We the Nashik-ites are here to invite you all to the 22nd Annual conference of IAP

Maharashtra branch i. e. MAHAPEDICON-2011. Friends MAHA IAP is the largest and

one of the most active state branch of IAP. So, keeping with the tradition we are going

to have our state conference as a great scientific bonanza.

Nashik is one of the most active branches of Maharashtra. It is the 16 th fastest

growing city in the world. Nashik has metamorphosed from a silent pilgrimage town to

a bustling metropolitan, industrial hub. It is also being known as the wine capital of

India. Friends, as you all are aware Nashik is known for it's-the year round-pleasant

weather, as well. The pleasantness is at it's peak in December.

In this finest weather we have chosen one of the most exquisite venue of Nashik

for our conference. Hotel Express Inn is a star category hotel with lush green lawns, all

the lifestyle amenities along with ultra-modern facilities for conferencing. It's situated

right on the Mumbai Highway. We've meticulously planned the scientific programme

for the CME and Conference in such a way that it shall cover all the important sub-

specialities of pediatrics. The focus of academics is basics as well as advancements

which will be useful in day-to-day clinical practice.

In short, the scientific deliberations shall be of interest to a practicing pediatrician

as well as to a true academician. The list of faculties includes all the renowned figures in

our field. The MMC has sanctioned 5 credit hours for our conference. This itself speaks

about the quality of academics that we're offering.

Apart from lectures, panel discussions, interactive sessions we've planned 2 cultural

evenings as well. These evenings will enable you to make new friends, revisit the old

pals and get rejuvenated for the coming year.

Friends Nashik is a good tourist spot as well. Our official travel agent will assist you

in preparing your itinary. So dear academecians we know that you're looking for a

conference at par with the one held in Nashik in 1998. That is why we got 300+

registrations on the day of declaration of this event-in Kolhapur. And we have crossed

the 750 mark already. So come one and come all. Register your self for this mega event

at the earliest possible.

We the people of Nashik will not leave any stone unturned to make this

conference scientifically enriching, gastronomically satisfactory & socially

memorable.

Looking forward to welcome you at Nashik & give you memories to cherish for

years to come.
