Wendy Kraft joined Hadassah and became a life member in Newton, MA, in 1988, and is a Hadassah Keeper of the Gate. She graduated from the Hadassah Leadership Academy in 2007, and chaired the HLA Dining Club, and the 2012 Gala. Wendy is a graduate of the first Florence Melton School for Adult Jewish Learning, serves on numerous boards in the Jewish and Secular community and is a Co-founder of Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, Las Vegas' only Jewish Owned Funeral Home, and is a founding member of the Conservative Chevra Kadisha. Barbara Raben was a member of the first Hadassah Leadership Academy in Las Vegas, and has given back to Hadassah since. In 2009 she joined the Board of Hadassah Southern Nevada in serving as Co-Chair of the Gala, fundraising Co-Vice President, Co-OVP, and Co-President with Elaine Entin for 3 1/2 years. She continues her service on the Desert-Mountain Region Board, she was Secretary of Jewish Family Service Agency, and is now President of the Board. She is a graduate of The Melton School, and is involved with the Jewish Federation. Linda Catalan Sklar was a member of the third Hadassah Leadership Academy in Las Vegas from 2007 to 2009. Since then she joined the board of the Southern Nevada Chapter serving as Education Co-Chair from 2010 to 2012. Linda has a love of the Hebrew language and looks forward to teaching an Ivrit L'Hadassah Hebrew class in the near future. The daughter of a Sephardi father and an Ashkenazi mother, Linda feels at home in and is actively involved with quite a few shuls, both Sephardi and Ashkenazi, here and in L.A. Sharon Walker’s love of Hadassah started with her mother, who started the first Hadassah Chapter in Las Vegas. Sharon shared her mother’s passion and started a younger woman's chapter that met in her home monthly. In 2005, Sharon started a Business & Professional networking luncheon and in 2006, chaired the first Hadassah Leadership Academy. Sharon is a Hadassah life member, a Keeper of the Gate, a Founder, and donor to Hadassah Medical Organization and recently became a Centennial Founder. Her other community involvement includes her position as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Family Services agency.
