01/2015 First presentation at CES in Las Vegas IO HAWK is introduced at the world‘s largest IT trade show CES Las Vegas and immediately became one of the tradeshow highlights.

03/2015 CeBIT Fair 2015 IO Hawk visits CeBIT 2015 for just an interview and is again highlight of the tradeshow, even without having a booth there.

04/2015 Hollywood celebrities IO Hawk gives one of the devices to Justin Bieber who is immediately amazed. Many celebrities from Hollywood, e.g. Kanye West, Mike Tyson and many more are crazy about the scooters. IO Hawk sells more than 8000 units in the USA in just one night.

IO HAWK Europe is located in Neukirchen-Vluyn, near Düsseldorf. From here we serve all our European clients and maintain sales, after sales service, design product engineering as well as provide mar-keting solutions. 12/2015 Time Magazine awards IO HAWK technology Time Magazine (USA) awards the technology of the IO HAWK as winner of the Top 25 inventions of 2015.

02/2016 More than 52 fires of cheap Hoverboards only in USA - even in Europe accidents occur - Duetomorethan52firesinUSA,withmorethan $2 Million damage, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) asks Underwriter Laboratories (UL), an American test-lab for technical safety, to develop a safety standard for hoverboards: The safety standard UL2272 for hoverboards.

03/2016 UL 2272 Safety Standard Underwriters Laboratories (UL) released the world‘s firstsafetystandardUL2272forhoverboards.During the testings all single components as well as the total system is reviewed. IO Hawk welcomes and supports this safety standard.

07/2016 Recall of more than 500,000 Hoverboards The US government calls back 500,000 Hoverboards of different brands. IO HAWK is not affected as a brand. In general, there is so far no single case of an exploded IO Hawk worldwide.This is very easy to discover for an enduser cause only the IOHAWK has an „IO“ Mark on its rims (and those will mostly stay afterafire).

With the IO Hawk Cross you are able to do all that, which was not possible with your previous Hoverboard. Its 215 mm tires with deep tread allow you the driving on any terrain – it could be on the beach, on grass or rocks, or a curb, or uneven roads and everywhere where you could not ride with your present Hoverboard! But that‘s not nearly enough! The IO Hawk Cross is equipped with a speaker, it enables for you wirelessly to listen your favorite music. Connect your Smartphone simply via Bluetooth!

With the IO Hawk app (available in the AppStore & Google Play store)you can record your driving routes, view your current speed, adjust your user mode, monitor the battery indicator and much more! High-quality LED lights and red stoplights will guide you the way even with poor visibility. The fenders made of solid aluminum to provide protection and have a holding device for equipment such as a Action Camera, an extra light or a number plate. The IO Hawk Cross will be delivered in a stable hard-shell bag so that you can go easily transport your IO Hawk everywhere.

The Cross has 2 rubberized surfaces which provide maximum grip. The unit can be controlled via digital electronic gyroscopes and accelerometers by shifting weight.

MAXIMUM GRIP

The IO Hawk Cross is protected by the IPX4 standard against splashing water. So a short rain shower doesn‘t matter for you.

MULTICOLORED STATUS LEDS

The Cross is equipped with 2 LED front headlights for your own safety. Further features of the device on red taillights. While driving around a corner, the corresponding arrow-shaped rear light indicates the direction.

IO HAWK One

The IO HAWK is a technologically advanced mobility device, which is an innovation in the way that we move. The IO HAWK is controlled by slight changes of your body‘s center of gravity. The inbuilt sensors and gyroscopes balance the IO HAWK itself and prevents tumbling over. After 3-5 minutes you are already able to drive safely. The low weight of just 11 kg and his compact measures promise an easy to carry device.

With a maximum speed of 10km/h the IO HAWK drives up to 14-20 km far. Recharging takes only 2-3 hours. Thanks to his dust and splash resistance, you can even use the IO HAWK on light rain and wet ground without any problems. The IO HAWK is supplied with two remote keys, which makes it possible to turn off the unit and switch between the two programs “beginners” (Max 6 km / h) and “Standard” (10 km/h).
