iPad Security Set Up - Setting a Passcode As iPads are used in schools there is likely to be sensitive information stored on them. It is therefore essential that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the security of any data on the iPad. You must set a passcode on any school iPad in order to prevent unauthorised access to the information stored on the iPad. To set a passcode: The iPad will now prompt the user to enter the passcode each time the iPad is opened. After 10 failed attempts to enter the passcode all of the data on the iPad will be erased. iPad Security Set Up - Setting a Passcode

As iPads are used in schools there is likely to be sensitive information stored on them. It is therefore essential that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the security of any data on the iPad. You must set a passcode on any school iPad in order to prevent unauthorised access to the information stored on the iPad.

To set a passcode:

The iPad will now prompt the user to enter the passcode each time the iPad is opened.

After 10 failed attempts to enter the passcode all of the data on the iPad will be erased.
