# EMPLOYEE SAFETY OBSERVATIONS

The company is required to submit at least

two (2) safety observations

per each census headcount per year (Example: 80)

GOAL FOR COMPANY: Approx. 160 observations

The company management

(directors, managers, supervisors)

is required to submit at least one (1)

safety observation per month

Each site is required to have each employeeAttend monthly safety training.Training must be documented !

ENVIRO-ECO-EFFICIENCY PROJECT (E3) COMPLETION

The company should identify and carry out waste minimization and ecological conservation (E3) projects annually.

% SAFETY COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION:

-The company should have a safety committee team established;- Meeting facilitator should be one of the site’s leadership;- Team members - rotation is optional;-Current events, safety performance, corrective actions, initiatives, etc.. Are all discussed during these meetings; meeting minutes recorded;

# SAFETY AUDITS PERFORMED

The company should have audit zones identified where safety behaviors and/or compliance audits are performed monthly (e.g. Plant: process lines (extruder, injection, moulding, maintenance, compressor rooms, blending, mixing rooms, distribution, chemical storage, QC, etc..)

# 6 S HOUSEKEEPING AUDITS PERFORMED

Each department (or site) should have monthly housekeeping audits performed in each zone area.

HOW ?Answer: Integrating the 5 S program inspection to

the existing Safety Inspection.
