Learn from the experts, network, and discover the latest scientific and technical advancements in pain management. Connect with your peers from Across the nation. You will be better for the experience as will your practice and your patients.

ASIPP always raises the standard for continuing education programs in Interventional Pain Management by offering exciting, educational, and enlightening lectures and panel workshops. This year’s educational events will include practice management, controlled substance management, regenerative medicine, interventional techniques, abstract presentations, a Resident/Fellow section for emergence into practice, and more.

Whether you are a member of ASIPP®, or have yet to become a member, we are confident that this event will provide the information needed to help you in the evolving specialty of interventional pain management.

DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES

There are two highly respected Distinguished Lecture Series. The Raj-Racz Distinguished Lecture Series has keynotes from Laxmaiah Manchikanti, MD on excellence in IPM and Konstantin Slavin, MD, PhD on advances in Neuromodulation. The Manchikanti Distinguished Lecture Series is pleased to have keynotes from Robert Laszewski speaking on evolving concepts for the future of health care reform and several representatives from Farragut Partners, one of Washington’s top government relations firms, will speak about the importance of legislative advocacy for our specialty. Joshua Hirsch, MD will do the introduction to the Manchikanti Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. Hirsch is Vice Chief of Interventional Care, Massachusetts General Hospital and Associate Professor, Harvard Medical School.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Randy Alvarez, founder of The Wellness Hour, begins lectures Thursday morning with the topic of marketing for success in tough times. The Wellness Hour airs each week on TV in approximately 70 million homes Across the United States and Canada, featuring some of the nation’s leading medical doctors, dentists and other licensed health practitioners.

Bret Scher, MD, a low carb cardiologist, will wade through facts and fiction about the use of low carb diets with patients. Investigative journalist Nina Teicholtz will discuss evidence-based dietary guidelines and the role of high fat diets.

Another important topic in pain management protocols is the use of CBD oil. J. Matthew Andry, MD will talk about appropriate uses of CBD oil for chronic pain. And in the times we now live, private practice physicians need help managing their online reputations. Kevin Pho, MD is a widely known expert on helping fellow physicians navigate this ever-evolving landscape. Dr. Pho has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and more.

Regenerative Medicine will also be an important topic during this meeting. Researcher and Professor Arnold Caplan, PhD will discuss MSCs, now called medicinal signaling cells and the latest research on this evolving technology.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of ASIPP®, we hope you join us for the largest and most beneficial meeting all year for Interventional Pain Physicians. Don’t miss this BIG opportunity!
