    This Journal is devoted to research studies on the life, poetry and thought of Iqbal and on those branchesof learning in which he was interested: Islamic Studies, Philosophy, History, Sociology, Comparative Religion,Literature, Art and Archaeology.

    Manuscripts for publication in the journal should be submitted in duplicate, typed in double-space, and onone side of the paper with wide margins on all sides. Abstracts in English should be typed double-spaced on aseparate page. Computer diskettes along with original and duplicate manuscripts are welcomed in Office 2000.

    In order to facilitate academic review and production, authors must conform to the following: 1) the nameof the author, address, phone numbers, title, and name(s) of universities must appear on the title page of thearticle; 2) footnotes are to be numbered consecutively and must appear at the end; 3) all foreign words mustappear underlined with properly placed diacritical marks. Five off-prints of the articles and two copies of book
