YEAR 6 Our students are learning about the layers of the Earth, studying natural disasters and how they affect the environment. Look out for some amazing PBL opportunities for students to create models and designs of natural disasters and their affects as well as developing ideas for how they can be prevented. (Mr Hafner)

Students in year 6 have been studying about the earth. In this experiment they are comparing the layers of an egg to the layers of the earth! Mashallah. (Br Dawood) QURANIC STUDIES During our Quran lessons, our students learn the manners of holding the Quran and dealing with it. They have been directed to the idea that Allah SWT is close to them and anytime they need to listen to him they just need to open the Quran and read from it. Consequently, the angels will descend to listen to their reading and the serenity and mercy of the Quran will be brought down on them by the grace of Allah. We direct them to the notion that the love of Allah SWT for us is indefinite and that he has distinguished us from all nations by sending the Quran to us to learn the religion and to be an intercessor for us in shaa Allah. May Allah SWT make all our students from the people of Quran and may the Quran enlighten their hearts, souls and life. (Mrs Lubnah)
