Probing into the problemWhy do we need to purify water?Water is one of the two most essential elements required for the sustenance of life on Earth. 71% of the Earth comprises water and so does the human body. Water is very essential both in good quality and quantity for the optimal functioning of the human body. With these universally accepted facts arises the problem of safe water. Earlier people considered water from the flowing rivers streams and underground water to be a source of fresh drinkable water. However is this water really fit for drinking? With the growing industrialization and pollution, water is getting contaminated with dissolved and undissolved solids posing a threat to our lives by various water-borne diseases. According to a recent WHO report around 2 million people die each year due to water-borne diseases.

Is purifying water a new concept?No. People have been purifying water since ages. There have been numerous techniques used by people in the old times to make water fit for drinking, thus laying down the foundation for the modern day purifiers. A number of water purification techniques started evolving, boiling is the safest and cheapest of all. Other methods included sedimentation and filtration, distillation, to name a more complex methods, bio-sand filter, active carbon and chlorination, where a powerful chemical, chlorine was added to treat water, but it soon lost popularity because of its aftereffects.

So what are some of the existing solutions for water purification?Water these days contains not only harmful chemicals and foreign contaminants like heavy metals but also dangerous bacteria and viruses. How do we begin drinking Miracle Water?Initially, a low pH level (between pH 8.0 & 9.0) should be set and the amount of intake should be increasing at a gradual pace. After maintaining this regularity for approximately 2 weeks, the pH level should be adjusted between pH 9.0- pH 9.5), based on one’s physical conditions and needs of the body. However, Miracle Water should be as fresh as possible when consumed.
