ALTERNATIVES ANALYSIS EVALUATION CRITERIA
(1) Consistency with ISCJ vision, mission, and goals; (2) Consistency with stakeholder interests and priorit ies; (3) Cost effectiveness; (4) Major donor interest; (5) Land acquisit ion needs; (6) Traff ic/parking impacts: (7) Sustainabi l ity; (8) Revenue potential ; (9) Township required approvals; (10) Schedule , impacts, advantages/disadvantages; and others.
PROPOSED MASTERPLAN UPDATE MOST PRUDENT AND FEASIBLE ALTERNATIVES:
1. Approximately 44 senior housing units behind the school building
2. Replacement of the office building with a multiuse Sports Center
3. Revision of the 2006 approved NUI Phase 3 by replacing the approved auditorium with
15 additional classrooms.
SPORTS FACILITY OPTIONS
Bubble: Lower init ial cost, but high monthly maintenance costs, short l i fe span, and higher risk of damage . Better suited to locations with much bigger areas to cover. Steel structure : Higher init ial cost, but less monthly maintenance costs, longer l i fe span, and less risk of damage . Well suited and cost effective for 125’ span at ISCJ site .
WHAT IS A SPORTS & COMMUNITY CENTER?
• A multi-sport, multi-purpose facility located on the ISCJ campus
available for use by our community and will be open to the public.
• This will be a secure indoor area for sports training, league play,
tournaments, private room rentals, and community events.
• This 40,000 sq. ft facility will provide social, benevolent,
recreational and athletic activities.

ISCJ MEMBER BENEFITS
• ISCJ may work jointly with Operator to develop programs that may incentivize ISCJ
members via a special discount.
• ISCJ members will get access for time it wants to pay for on behalf of the community, for
example:
• Friday nights 8-10 (one court + Soccer field)
• ISCJ YM
• Saturday and Sunday 1 hour for mid school break/lunch/prayer time/WES Teams
