Day one in UNICEF… Already us soldiers (the good people) have fought with the rebels. How do they expect us to “heal” when we see our enemies everyday. They also took me off drugs because apparently it damages your body. Please! Ever since they took me off, I have been in pain. And they keep saying “it’s not your fault.” WHAT IS NOT MY FAULT?!


Esther (some nurse) is trying to get me to talk about my “life.” Oh yes, I used to be happy with a family but then I stopped caring and enjoyed that more. Great life story right? #eyeroll I am not going to share some of the most traumatic events to someone who doesn’t know me. The truth is… it’s hard for me. It’s hard to relive my past. I don’t ever want to go through that again.

Thank you @UNICEFesther for the best gift ever. Thank you for giving me a cassette. This used to be my escape back when I was younger. It brings up so many memories.


I just found out that I have an uncle nearby! He is going to take me in as his own. Finally life seems to be getting brighter, and better for me.


Finally settling into home. I have been asked to give a speech in New York! I will have to tweet after. Wish me a safe flight!


Hello everyone… New York was amazing and I am so happy I got to live my dream. One day when I am older I will move there. Thank you to @mysterioushost, @juniboy, @lifequotes, @UNICEF, @UNICEFesther and even @pradagurl for giving me hope when there seemed like there was none.


War has broken out again in my new hometown. Why does it follow me. Everyone is staying inside their homes. I am terrified, petrified even. I cannot go through this again. Uncle Tommy just fell ill and passed away in my arms. I am now illegally escaping to NY as a war refugee. Goodbye Sierra Leone, and goodbye to all the crap it has brought upon me. I will not miss you.
