Lawyers in our Isle of Man office advise clients in relation to Isle of Man and British Virgin Islands law and are able to facilitate the provision of legal advice in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Shanghai and the Seychelles. Advised Blackstone and CVC in connection with the proposed acquisition of Paysafe Group PLC by way of scheme of arrangement.
Advised NEPI in connection with a guaranteed medium term note programme and the first issue of notes.
Acted as Isle of Man legal counsel to Strix Group PLC during the process of scheduling and listing its shares on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market.
Acted for one of the existing investors during the listing of Eddie Stobart Logistics for circa £570m on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market.
Advised on the sale by the Duncan Lawrie private banking group of its Isle of Man investment management, lending and fiduciary businesses and the winding down of its banking operations.

Caren Pegg was retained to resolve a number of complex regulatory issues which related to the removal of a director and manager that had been put in place. This was a sensitive and difficult matter and it arose out of a high profile fraud case which had been reported in the local and national press.

Acted for the bank in granting a loan to the Channel Islands Property Fund. Part of the facility sums made available were to enable a subsidiary, Fort Anne Holdings Limited, to purchase a prominent business property in Douglas for £13.3million from Dohle (IOM) Limited.
Assisting with overseeing the purchase of a new tranche of development land for a large housing estate and putting in place the necessary security with a top Island development company.
