Located in the Darsait area of Muscat, Oman; Indian School Muscat (ISM) is a non-commercial organization established and funded by the local Indian community and parents. Administrative affairs of the school are taken care of by 15-21 honorary School Management Committee members. The SMC was appointed by the Board of Directors in accordance with the bye-laws of Indian schools in Oman approved by the government of Oman. Indian School Muscat expresses a deep sense of gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the benevolent ruler of the Sultanate of Oman. His Majesty's magnanimous grant of land in Darsait enabled the school to be established in 1975 with

135 students. Today Indian School Muscat is the largest co-educational institution in the Gulf with over 9200 students. As the flagship school in Oman, Indian School Muscat continues to extend academic and administrative support to the other allied Indian Schools in Oman. ISM has also played a pivotal role in the formation of the other Indian Schools in Oman.

Indian School Muscat Alumni (ISMA)

The Indian School Muscat Alumni (ISMA) was formed in 1997 and has continued to grow in strength ever since. In August 2017, an Alumni leadership team was appointed to facilitate ISM Alumni to reconnect with each other and give back to the institution that laid the foundation for their education. ISMA maintains an official database of members in Oman and across the globe and members will be updated periodically of all ISMA happenings. We understand that collaboration is key for the success of any initiative. Additional to networking opportunities and mentorship programs; registered ISMA Lifetime members will be eligible for the ISMA loyalty card that will offer a range of benefits & discounts sourced specifically for them. Discounts and offers will be categorized as follows: Food & Beverage, Attractions & Leisure, Beauty & Fitness, Fashion and Retail, Everyday services and Travel & Hospitality.

As an ISM Alumni partner, your business will have an opportunity to reach a network of 40,000+ Alumni across the globe. ü ISMA Partner can at anytime chose to exit the program with a 30 day notice provided via email to isma@ismoman.com

ISMA will also be organizing events throughout the calendar year ranging from social, networking, sporting and educational events. These events will be held at Indian School Muscat premises, outside locations or establishments. ISMA Partners will be given first preference at sponsorships, setup of vendor stalls and discounted sponsor packages (Title sponsor, Gold, Silver, etc.). Details of all events will be posted on the ISMA website, ISMA Facebook page and email communication to the extensive database of ISMA members in Oman and worldwide. Sponsor details will also be included in such event promotions.
