Who We Are

Isocon Engineering Ltd was established in 1972 to principally service the requirements of the

Scotch Whisky Industry. From its base in Glasgow the company has developed unique skills

and a considerable reputation for quality services in the

inspection,certifying,repair/refurbishment and cleaning of ISO Tank Containers for Scotch

Whisky/Global Spirits.

The projected increase in worldwide demand for Global Spirits combined with similar demand

for bespoke oil & gas and bulk fluid transfer services has resulted in a strategic shift to exploit

associated niche market opportunities within the ISO Container industry.

It is expected that Isocon will develop leadership in the provision of growth in additional

service capabilities to both of these key markets. Isocon will bring considerable experience in

each sector and a desire to service burgeoning global markets.

In line with growth opportunities Isocon has identified strategic locations in the global market

and also within the UK. Isocon has at present specialist ISO Tank Container Service Depots

in Glasgow and Aberdeen, with plans for Grangemouth and a further 2 locations in Scotland

to construct a specialist Depot network coverage for the market.

All Isocon facilities are of similar construction, utilising hard standing ( concrete, block and

tarmac ) and would employ similar Isocon designed intermodal workshops/offices as recently

constructed in our Port of Kingston, Jamaica facility below.
