for metering installations combines more than
20 years of experience in automation of bulk gas
control and monitoring with the latest technologies.
It can consist of a single supervisory computer or
redundant configurations with or without client
stations. This solution fully integrates Honeywells
Elster products, providing synergy with the Meascon
Condition-based Monitoring (CBM) system.

Rundandant System Configurations A redundant supervisory system is often required
for high availability. With the ISSplus solution, both
supervisory computers will have their own SQL server
for data. This data is synchronized between both
the duty and backup server to ensure it is identical.
The duty supervisory computer communicates
with all devices and distributes the readings to
the connected backup server, which performs a
background communication check only. For
situations where multiple operator terminals are
required, a true redundant client server system
is offered. Client stations allow process graphics
to be visible on the company network, and
are available in two variants: view only (view
station) and full operation (operator station).
Total Solution Display
Intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Advanced graphics with the ISSplus software
provide a convenient overview of the metering
station. This includes process data such as flow
rates, pressures and temperatures. Overview
screens give you all the necessary information to
check your metering system at a glance but
without overloading operators with too much
information. Intuitive detailed screens and touch
screen accessibility offer additional information for
diagnostic and fault finding purposes. Operation
is easy using mouse and function keys. Security
levels can restrict access to all parts of the system.
Flexible Reporting & Billing ISSplus will process data from flow computers with
utmost precisionensuring data processing
without rounding errors. The values are stored in
a SQL database. Standard systems include daily
and monthly production reports, but any report can
be made available. The daily report, for example,
includes hourly and daily production values
in tabular format. Reports can be automatically
printed and are also stored on disk. In addition,
users of the ISSplus solution can do reporting with
a third-party reporting tool, allowing maximum
flexibility in report generation. On top of that, there
is a possibility to store data in external databases
or export the data/reports in Excel or PDF format
for further processing.
Robust DiagnosticsThe robust performance monitoring features
within ISSplus were developed in close cooperation
with design specialists for Honeywells Elster group
products such as the Q.Sonic ultrasonic meter,
Encal 3000 gas chromatograph and enCore FC1
flow computer. The software continuously monitors
process conditions and validates metering system
performance. It will signal if metering equipment has
drifted and requires maintenance or recalibration.
Powerful CBM Capabilities Honeywells CBM system, Meascon, fully integrates
Honeywells Elster products to take performance
to the next level. Meascon enables gas operators
to implement effective preventive maintenance
strategies and minimize instrument calibration
requirements to reduce their operating expenses
(OPEX). The system allows for easy health
monitoring of a complete metering system and, in
particular, ultrasonic gas flow meters from Honeywell.
Users can achieve reliability, long-term measurement
accuracy and minimum uncertainty while keeping
maintenance costs as low as possible. Powerful
CBM capabilities detect any significant change
either in the flow meter itself, or the process and
environment in which it is operating, so operators
can take appropriate action.
