NEWS FLASH In our Easter Unit called ‘New Life’ we have been talking about the Circle of Life and reading the Bible passage (Jn 20: 1 – 30) about Jesus’ Resurrection. We have written news reports that might have been seen in the local papers at the time that Jesus died and rose from the dead. 4S reporter Amy Hassarati wrote:

IS OUR LORD ALIVE??? When Mary Magdalene went to the tomb she saw an angel. Mary said, “Where did you put the Lord’s body” then she started crying. The angel said to her, “They haven’t taken the Lord’s body anywhere. He has risen.” But Mary didn’t believe him at first.

Then Mary saw someone standing behind her – it was Jesus. She didn’t recognise him then Jesus said “Why are you crying?” Mary said, “They have taken my Lord away”. Jesus said “Mary” and then Mary believed. She said “Rabboni” (which means teacher.)

Jesus said, “I want you to tell everyone that I have risen”. Forty days later Jesus ascended into Heaven”.

Paige Brosnan wrote an ACROSTIC POEM about Heaven.

eaven is a peaceful place veryone is watching over you in whatever you do lways feeling that there is someone to look up to ariety of people are endless for everyone needs to leave the Earth some day veryone is safe from Satan the devil of sins ow go rest in peace.

Stay posted for more of Jesus’ ‘Good News’.
