ADAM MASCHERIN The Maple, ON native scored his first career OHL goal vs. the Oshawa Generals on October 5, 2014. Last year Adam became the first Rangers’ player since Jason Akeson (2010-11) to register 100 points in a single season. He was named winner of the Three Star Award, the Jim Reilly Trophy as team scoring leader, and the Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy as the team MVP last season. Adam has an identical twin brother named Aedan.

LUKE OPILKA The St. Louis, MO native earned his first career OHL win on October 1, 2015, stopping 21 shots in a 4-2 victory over the North Bay Battalion. Luke became a goaltender at age 8; prior to that he was a defenceman. He claims the only goal he scored as a defenceman was into his own net. He was drafted by his hometown St. Louis Blues in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

GREG MEIRELES The Ottawa, ON native tallied his first career point during a five-point effort in just his third OHL game (2G, 3A) vs. the Sudbury Wolves on October 12, 2015. Greg was named the winner of the Michael Pappert Memorial Trophy as Kitchener Rangers Rookie of the Year last season. He credits his Dad as giving him some of the best advice he’s been given in terms of the game, telling him to not only work hard on the ice, but off it as well.

jake henderson The St. Louis, MO native’s first career OHL goal in his first career game was also the Kitchener Rangers’ first goal of the 2015-16 season on September 25, 2015 vs. the Owen Sound Attack. Jake was named the winner of the Kitchener Rangers Most Popular Player Award, as voted by his teammates following last season. Fellow St. Louisan, Luke Opilka, was a teammate of Jake’s on the St. Louis Blues U-16 team, and the two have been friends since they were 12-years-old.

jonathan yantsis The Markham, ON native scored his first career OHL goal on February 1, 2017 vs. the London Knights. When Jonathan first started playing hockey as a young child, he was a goaltender. He then switched from goaltender to defenceman. He eventually made another switch to forward, where he now plays.

Mike petizian The Mississauga, ON native signed his standard player agreement with the Rangers in August. He was a member of the 2017 OHL Gold Cup winning Team GTHL Red, and prior to that, also claimed the OHL Cup with the Mississauga Reps. He was named OHL Cup MVP, as well as Player of the Game in the Reps’ 3-2 win in the championship final. His 13 points in seven tournament games were the most by an OHL Cup MVP since Connor McDavid (19) in 2012.

He played the majority of last season with Gloucester Rangers, registering seven goals and 10 points in 38 regular season games. Liam was born in St. Albert, Alberta and lived in Kuwait for a year.

connor bunnaman The Guelph, ON native scored his first career OHL goal on October 13, 2014 vs. his hometown Guelph Storm. At Philadelphia Flyers prospect camp this past off-season, Connor and the other players endured more than six hours of Navy Seal training. Connor has scored the coveted Teddy Bear goal the past two seasons. He more than doubled his previous best in goals in a season in 2016-17, finishing the year tops in the category with 37. He was named the winner of the Blueline Club Trophy as Most Gentlemanly Player last season.

connor hall The Cambridge, ON native scored his first career OHL goal on January 22, 2016 vs. the Erie Otters. After being drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round (77th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Connor participated in the team’s prospect camp the past two summers. He says meeting and talking with both Sidney Crosby and Mario Lemieux following his draft was one of the most surreal experiences he’s ever had.

After three goals in 41 games in his rookie campaign, he obliterated his personal bests with 25 goals and 60 points last season. A notorious fan favourite, Joseph was named the winner of the Les Bradley Memorial Award last season as Most Improved Player. Joseph was enrolled in figure skating until the age of eight.
