Timeframe to issue badge

Griffith Credentials are issued once an organisation has provided the required ‘earner’ information to Griffith

The timeframe within which this information should be provided is entirely up to the organisation – however

experience indicates that credential acceptance rates are higher when credentials are issued soon after the end date of

the learning activity.

Prior to issuing a credential, an email is sent to the earner with information on the credential.

The email outlines the achievement, the reason and what to expect. This is called the pre-notification email.

1

When the credential is issued, the earner receives a

notification email with instructions to claim the digital

badge.

First time users are required to create an account on the Acclaim platform.

Return users are asked to sign into the account to claim their badge Once the earner fills out the details and clicks ‘Create my account’, a confirmation

email is sent. When the confirmation email is received, the earner is prompted to sign-in using

the log-in details they set up.

Once a user signs in, they will be able to claim their pending badge by clicking the ‘Accept’

button.

After accepting the badge, the earner is directed to the ‘Share badge’ screen.

Here they can share their badge directly from the Acclaim platform.

Earners can share their badges on

LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. They can download it, add to an email signature,

print it or embed it in a document
