I. INTRODUCTION

Technological progress is a development that cannot be denied.

Especially in the world of work, the use of information technology is one

aspect that becomes competition in all fields of work. To face these

challenges, South Sumatra must strengthen competitiveness and competitive

advantage in all sectors by relying on the quality and capability of human

resources with mastery of capable technology.

For this reason, the provincial government of South Sumatra is always

trying to prepare workers who are competent in their respective fields. The

XXVII South Sumatra Province Student Competency Competition (LKS)

competition in Palembang for South Sumatra Vocational High School

(SMK) students is a concrete manifestation and effort in developing human

resources carried out by the government through the Principal Work Unit

(K3S).

II. AIM

1. Encouraging Vocational Schools to improve the quality of implementing

learning activities (KBM) which refers to the Indonesian National Work

Skills Standards (SKKNI) IT Networking Support expertise.

2. To monitor the quality and ability map of vocational schools in the

province of South Sumatra in accordance with the Indonesian National

Work Skills Standards (SKKNI) IT Networking Support expertise.

3. Promote the skills of vocational school students in IT Networking

Support to the world of industry as prospective users of labor

4. Providing opportunities and motivation to students to compete positively,

to foster pride in the areas of expertise they pursue, as well as pride in

their schools and regions.





III. PARTICIPANTS

Participants are vocational students with the following criteria:

1. Citizens of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

2. Recorded as active student grade II / III of Private Vocational Schools in

South Sumatra Province.

3. It is stated as the district / city LKS winner of the IT Networking Support

expertise program.

4. Each Regency / City can only be represented by one participant.

IV. COMPETITION MATERIAL

A. SCOPE OF COMPETITION

The type of activity contested is a practice test consisting of 2 modules:

1. Module 1 participants are required to install the Windows 7 operating

system for client computers and Linux Debian 7 CLI mode for server

computers and perform server configuration.

2. Module 2 Competitors are required to design a network system on the

Cisco packet tracer application.

B. SCORE AND ASSESSMENT

1. The form of the competition consists only of practice competitions that

are done individually. This practice competition, all done at the

location of the competition that has been determined by the

committee.

2. The results of the practical work of each participant were carried out at

the race place within ± minutes, with the race material and the rating

weighting as follows:

and academics who are competent in the field of IT Network Systems

VI. CONTROL OF THE COMPETITION

General:

1. At the time of the race, the competition room is in full control of the jury

2. After the race session is over, the room will be sealed and the key will be carried by

the jury.

3. At the end of the competition, an open outcome study will be held.





Supervisor:

1. Accompany participants during a technical meeting.

2. Fill in the attendance list provided by the Committee.

3. Maintain order and tranquility in the implementation of the competition.

4. Helping the participants who are guided if there is a health problem.

5. Not helping participants during the race in any way.

Participants:

1. Participants must be present at the 'technical meeting'.

2. Participants must be present 15 minutes before the competition starts.

3. Participants who do not attend according to the schedule, and or more than 1 hour

from the specified schedule are considered to resign.

4. Must fill in the attendance list at the time before the race begins.

5. A neat work dress (uniform PRACTICE) is expected to only use the identity of the

participant number from the committee.

6. Competitors must check equipment and work environment cleanliness the day

before the race begins (D-1)

7. Not allowed to leave the competition area without permission from the jury.

8. The assessment carried out is a process step by step, which is assessed step by step

in the process so that participants who have completed one stage to report to the

committee to be assessed.

9. After one stage of the work that the participant has done has been assessed, the

participant is required to document what will be explained in points 21 and 22.

10. After that, participants can proceed to the next stage.

11. If the participant has finished less than the specified time, the participant can

declare complete and leave the competition area.

12. If the Participant has declared completing and leaving the competition area, it is not

permitted to enter again to correct or continue the remaining time.

13. Competitors occupy / use the race equipment according to the lottery results.





14. Not allowed to bring books / notes / HP / Flashdisk in the exam room and not allowed

to access the internet.

15. Doing the task using a ballpoint pen, it is not justified to write in pencil.

16. Not allowed to use tip-ex to delete errors.

17. Errors should be crossed out on wrong words / numbers and written the correct

words / numbers.

18. For health reasons participants are allowed to bring snacks and drinks into the exam

room.

19. Participants cannot continue the race due to illness or other matters, then they are

considered to have dropped out / resigned.

20. Participants are not allowed to consult or receive technical direction from anyone

about the job at the time the activity takes place except from the jury.

21. It is not justified to use equipment (hardware / software) outside the existing

provisions.

22. Participants are required to document work results on worksheets (HVS) in

anticipation of sudden equipment damage.

23. Documentation in the form of records of work steps, procedures and structured

coding scripts that have been carried out.

24. If there is a malfunction of the equipment suddenly and the participant performs as

described in point 19. Then the Participant is not required to repeat from the

beginning and can continue the next stage.

25. In the event of equipment malfunction suddenly and the participant does not do as

described in point 19. Then the Participant must repeat from the beginning.

26. Damage to equipment (hardware / software) due to procedural errors by

participants, is the responsibility of the participants themselves.

27. Failure / delays in work are not tolerated (for example, the work is lost / damaged

due to forget that it has not been saved).

28. Violations of this order will be given sanctions in the form of reprimand until the

form of dismissal as a participant.





29. The Jury's decision is absolute and cannot be contested.

30. Other provisions that have not been listed in this order are decided by the jury's

policy (determined later as needed).

VII. COMPETITION WINNING CRITERIA

Contest winners are participants who have the highest final score of all

modules that are carried out by the participants. If there is the same final score, a

jury will be interviewed.

VIII. COMPETITION COMMITTEE

The competition committee is a team established by the Principal Work Unit

(K3S), namely Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang
