Clarification on the information required for CERN to prepare the PLC control system software
The contractor shall allow in the schedule a minimum four weeks for the programming of the PLCs by CERN. In order to start the programming of the control system, CERN requires the following four documents to be finalised - submitted and approved:1. P&IDs - with the correct GMAO and tag references.2. Electrical Schematics3. I/O List4. Functional DescriptionIt is therefore essential that the above documentation and drawings are submitted, revised as required and finalised in accordance with the schedule, such that the preparation of the controls does not impact the scheduled testing and commissioning period.
