3. Capture the screen shot of the load on the Ethernet Server.
4. What is the average load (bits/second) on the Ethernet server? Roughly 2,250 bits/second
5. What is the maximum load (bits/second) on the Ethernet Server? Roughly 4,000 bits/second
6. What is the minimum load (bits/second) on the Ethernet Server? Roughly 1,120 bits/second
7. Capture the screen shot for the Ethernet delay for the whole network.

Comparing Results
11.Capture a screen shot of the comparison of the Ethernet Load between the baseline scenario(first_floor) and the expansion scenario.
12.Capture a screen shot of the average increase of the Ethernet Load between the baselinescenario (first_floor) and the expansion scenario.

13.Analyze the results. Is there a change in the Ethernet load as a result of expansion? Is thenetwork stable?
Here in the Ethernet load from expansion result increases; if you look the graph of twolines (red and blue) the average increases from 2,250 b/s to 3500 b/s.
The network is quiet stable because there is no delay after the expansion. You can referto the next question
14.Capture a Screen shot of the combined As-Is Global Ethernet Delay as a result of expandingthe network.
15.Capture a Screen shot of the Average Global Ethernet Delay as a result of expanding thenetwork.

16. Is there a significant increase/decrease in the Ethernet delay as a result of network expansion? Please provide one reason for you answer.
No significant increase/decrease is there in the Ethernet delay as a result of networkexpansion. Because we have enough bandwidth (pipe) from the link (10BaseT) to access the
server
17.Report to ManagementDocument your results in a report to this organizations management that discusses the
scalability of their LAN design. Include the following sections:
a. An executive overview or management summary (the report in miniature, less than 1 pagewhat you investigated and the results you got). Think of this as the onlypage from your
report that a busy executive might read.
b. Comparative plots of the results from each scenario (referenced from screenshots).c. Discussion of what the model demonstrates and any recommendations for management.d. Personal observations: What did you learn? What surprised you and why or why not?
a. Comparative plots of the results from each scenario Comparing results from the two scenarios there is some changes between them
and I can discuss the major changes here so I start from first floor Scenario.
- First_FloorThe minimum server load is 1100 and the maximum server load is 4000,
the average load is 2,250 and the Ethernet delay is 0.004
- ExpansionThe minimum server load is 2,100 and the maximum server load is 7,000,
the average load is 3,500 and the Ethernet delay is stable is 0.004
The expansion of the network to 15 nodes increases the load of the link to theserver but fortunately the bandwidth is still enough to solve the load, but I
identified that the load is increased from 2,250 to 3,500. The Ethernet delay surely
is constant from both scenarios
Working with this OPNET IT Guru is Ease of use and very interesting tool affordsability to build computer models so students can study common networking andsecurity exercises in a safe online lab environment. Uses models and scenarios so
students can study the behavior of communications networks and security
implications.
I learned more and more things in this lab and this is a good Microscope that youcan see what is going on a big Network, and I will try other optional projects by
myself.
