It’s about that time…

You may drive yourself however transportation from FPC will be available for those who need it…

you must RSVP so we know to get a van or bus

Saturday May 23rd at 8pm

NO TICKETS Needed• All graduates and their guests will get in for

free. There will be NO tickets needed for admission. You may bring as many guests as

you wish.

• It is still unknown, how parking will be handled but everyone should be prepared to

pay for use of the parking garage and/or ocean center lots.

Cap and Gown Deliveries

• Herff Jones will be on campus sometime in the first week of May to hand out cap and gowns. This will happen in pride park between 10:30 and 12:30 (lunch time)

• All senior debts: sports debts, missing textbooks, parking tickets, library books, café debts etc must be taken care of before we will release your cap and gown to you

• Honors Cords Based on your un-weighted Cumulative GPA

– Silver for 3.0-3.9999– Gold for 4.0 and above

These will be in Pride Park the same days we give out Cap/gown but you must come to the table and ask for them.

What to wear UNDER your cap and gown

Guys:– Dress pants --- NO Jeans– Shirt and Tie– Nice Clean shoes (no flip flops)

Girls:– Solid color dresses or pant suits

• (wild patterns look ugly through the white)– Nice clean shoes (no flip flops)

• The Adult Ed summer school program has been cut…

YOU MUST PASS ALL YOUR CLASSES!!!

• If you are falling behind (whether it be a class you failed 1st term so something you have now…)please see your counselor to make sure you have all the necessary credits for

graduation or to sign-up for the co-enrollment program

Headed to College?• Make sure you have registered for the Bright Futures

Scholarship• Financial Aid Workshop is 7pm Thursday February 12th in

the media center, bring your parents• SAT registration deadline is February 10th for the March 14th

test date.• ACT registration deadline is February 27th for the April 4th

test date.• Final transcripts will be filled out at the end of the year. We

only send them to the school they are definitely going to….they only fill out ONE request and put them in the box labeled FINAL TRANSCRIPTS on the guidance counter.

• Bring in college acceptance letters for counselors.

Report Cards

• Hopefully you have your by now… if not I have them, pick it up before you leave the auditorium

• If you got any A’s or B’s… register to win a 2009 Dodge Challenger. You must complete the registration form, then EVERY 9-weeks bring your report card to Daytona Dodge to earn entries into the drawing. The 2nd 9-weeks deadline is Fri. Feb. 13th

Saturday April 25Pre-party + Grad Bash

•Must complete and turn in a permission slip BEFORE you are able to purchase a tickets TAKE CARE OF THAT NOW!!!!

•Tickets on sale March 1-18, cash or Money order, (FPCHS) $75

•Buy in groups so you can ride the same bus as your friends (bus assignments are done when you purchase your ticket)

•We will leave FPC at 3pm and return around 4 in the morning

Grad Bash – What Not to Wear• Clothing with holes, tears or shredding• Clothing that is overly tight or provocative• No tank tops for guys, girls you must have at

least 3 inch sleeves• Skirts, shorts, dresses have to be at least mid-

thigh• Can not wear high school, college or

professional sports apparelThey’re giving you casual

don’t abuse it!!!!

Tickets will be $45 per person on sale right after spring break. Discounted tickets will be available one time only at the Prom Expo on March 11th.

• $35 can be purchased in the TV production room 1-141

• An all night, drug and alcohol free party for seniors immediately following graduation

• This has always been an event PLANNED BY PARENTS

• If the class of 2009 wants to have such an event, then you need to have your parents get together and plan it…. Have mom/dad contact

me to get them started.

• DON’T GET STUCK WITH A SENIOR DEBT --- RETURN THE PORTFOLIO AND PROOFS

• Cap and gown proofs should be sent to you by the end of the month, there is nothing to be

returned unless you choose to purchase• Another cap/gown picture option is Bryn Allen

at the ceremony. At practice you will fill out an information card giving an e-mail and

address to send proofs.

• Can still be ordered for $75

• If you haven’t picked up your report card yet, pick it up before you walk out.

• If you do not have a 1st period class, please go to the dinning hall… we’ll hang out there (with a special surprise ) until 2nd period begins at 10am.

• Everyone else head to class!
