BEETROOT SOUP WITH SMALL DUMPLINGS (BARSZCZ Z USZKAMI)

One of the most popular dishes in Poland is „barszcz z uszkami”-beetroot sopu with small dumplings. The colour of this soup is red and the dumplings have meat or cabbage with mushrooms.

JALLIED CARP (KARP W GALARECIE)Jallied carp has a lot of bones but it’s very delicious christmas dish and it looks very nice.

SUPPER WITH FAMILY (WIECZERZA Z RODZINĄ)We have supper after „First Star”. On the table we have twelve dishes and we must try everyone. Before supper we share wafer.

WAFER (OPŁATEK)Wafer is a symbol of body of Christ. People shered wafer before Christmas Supper.
